We are a group of scientists specializing in different areas of natural science, including cosmology, physics, and earth sciences. Despite our diverse interests and various orientations, we share the following two principles:

  1. The Quran is the word of our Creator that conveys the ultimate truth about God, us, and the universe we live in. All research endeavors should end up with consistent and affirmative conclusions to the Quranic concepts. We dismiss claims of contention between science and religion as superficial and due to immature and/or unconfirmed hypotheses. Actually, the more we learn about the universe, the more we appreciate the perfection and mercy of God.
  2. We adopt computing as an effective approach to reveal the divine control behind all creatures. Conducting computing research is our way of pursuing the truth and sharing it with others. Computing could provide a common platform for those inclined towards rational thinking to converge to a common understanding.

We have gathered under the umbrella of the Islamic Institute for Computing Research (IICR) to communicate the results of our research to Muslims and others. We design graduate programs as well as public seminars and conferences for this purpose. Our publications are meant to be logical and thrilling. We also collaborate with other organizations sharing a similar mission.

We are looking for new candidates to join our team. If you feel that you can be one of us, please do not hesitate to contact IICR.
